About Me
I am a jurist specializing in climate law, environmental law, and human rights, with over 25 years of experience in the Brazilian and international legal systems. I served as a Federal Judge at the 4th Circuit Federal Court of Justice from 2001 to 2022, where I also trained judges and legal professionals. I founded JUSCLIMA, a practice dedicated to climate litigation and the defense of traditional communities, and I am a partner at Agnelli & Bauer Strategies LLC, focusing on governance, ESG, and Brazil‑USA relations. I work as a professor at judicial training schools, participate in international forums such as COP‑30, and co‑author publications on environmental rights. Fluent in five languages, I combine judicial, academic, and strategic experience to act at the intersection of law, climate, and democracy.
